Greetings Families,
I'm a little late getting to my blog post this week. My weekend was much fuller than usually with the basketball practice, carnival, and staff party on Saturday. And Sundays are always full in the Naak household.
This is the last full week of school. Let me start with the schedule for the week, and then I'll hit on what students will be learning.
Schedule
Tuesday: Science Quiz (Electricity Review Quiz)
Tuesday: History Test (Arizona - Open Notes)
Wednesday-Friday: "The Flag Goes By" Recitations
Wednesday: Greek and Latin Roots Test (1-50)
Thursday: Math Quiz
Thursday: Science Quiz (Life Science Review Quiz)
Thursday: Grammar Test
Friday: Math Test (Cumulative Test - Units 1-3)
Friday: Spalding Test
Lessons
Writing/Grammar: This week, students will look at comparative and superlative adjectives while also reviewing everything they have learned this quarter. There is a cumulative test on Thursday.
History: Students will complete their study of Arizona this week and take their final test on Tuesday. The test is open notes.
