Quarter 3, Week 6 Lessons

Greetings Families,

Here are the lessons for week six.

Lessons

Writing/Grammar: Students will be reviewing grammar and looking at past papers.

History: Students will learn about how things turn to war between Britain and American and the great declaration.

Literature: Students will continue to read Carry On, Mr. Bowditch.

Math: Students will be tested in the hundredths place on Tuesday and will then start learning the thousandths place.

Poem: Students should continue to work toward memorizing "Paul Revere's Ride."

Greek and Latin Roots: Students will be assessed roots 1-66 on Wednesday.

Science: Students will learn about the rock cycle and weathering and erosion. There is a meteorology review quiz on Wednesday.

Spalding: Students will learn 20 new words this week in Spalding.

Monday: Field Trip to Arizona State Capitol
Tuesday: Math Test - Hundredths Place
Wednesday: Greek and Latin Roots Review Check (1-66)
Wednesday: Meteorology Review Quiz
Thursday: Math Quiz
Thursday: Great Hearts Day
Friday: History Test - American Revolution (Ch. 1-14)
